WISE - Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability, is a research initiative at the forefront of material science. The identity transforms and responds to its surroundings in an expression that mirrors the versatile and abstract nature of materials research and the significance of the endeavor.

The identity consists of four materials reflecting the four research areas: Circularity, Discovery, Mitigation, and Conversion. Combined with a matrix – a grid overlay that mirrors the systematic and strategic approach of the research, that engages and interacts with the user in interactive environments to capture positive societal impact the complex material science can have.
